后，决定去让客服给我从

Singapore, SG

换到Fremont

please change VPS from Singapore to Fremont

Hi Mr/Mrs,

My VPS server is current on Singapore node, which speed is become quite bad, too slow, especially UNABLE to access it, from my current location. My network supplier is China Telecom, Jiangsu Province, current speed from here to my Singapore VPS server is extreme slow, most case can NOT access the server.

And I also goto:

https://www.linode.com/speedtest

to test the speed for other network supplier, such as China Unicom, and the speed is also not stable: some time good, some time very bad, can not access.

but after my so many time tests, the speed to Fremont server is relatively stable, even if some time is still not good, but at least CAN access it, can connect to it.

So, my request is:

Please change my VPS server node from current Singapore to my expected Fremont.

BTW:

if possible, please do more optimize for Chinese region access speed to your server,

especially for different network supplier, China Telecom and China Unicom, from SuZhou, Jiangsu to VPS node of Singapore and Fremont.

Thank you for contacting Linode Support. We can certainly perform this migration for you to Fremont. Before we can configure this, please note the following :

– Your IP address will be changed

– You will experience 10-15 minutes of downtime per GB of data migrated

If this is fine, please let us know and we can begin the process.

But due to my delay reply, after two days, the ticket has been closed.

So, my new request is:

I already has notice changing VPS will change IP and experience some downtown time.

So, please change my VPS from Singapore to Fremont, WITHOUT my reply !
